Wednesdays, 6-9 pm, PST January 7 & 14, 2026 January 7th, "Supporting Independence: Practical Life in the Classroom for Children With Disabilities."  Independence is at the heart of education- but for children with disabilities, the path to independence may look different.  This interactive session gives educators the knowledge, mindset, and tools to make Practical Life experiences accessible and empowering for every child.  This class is not just for Montessori programs. Practical life experiences are hands-on, real-world tasks that build independence, coordination, and confidence. Core Knowledge Category: Special Needs, Set Two. January 14th, "See the Child, Not the Label".  Children are often given a label, which may or may not be correct. Participantswill look at specific behavior patterns from the children in the classroom and learn to address specific behaviors to lead to a more successful, respectful, and enriching community.
